Meet the assistant

Hello!  My name is Barbara Garber.  I am the library media assistant.  I have lived in Greene County for the past 18 years and have two children in GCPS. I have been a substitute teacher and a volunteer at RES for the past nine years.  This is my seventh year as a library assistant.  At home, we have one gorgeous golden retriever, a crazy kitten, one fat cat and three tropical fish.  Most of my free time is spent pool side watching my girls' swim team practices.  I love reading, swimming and cooking.  I am so excited to be working with the staff here and I look forward to making a difference in the lives of the children at NGES!
